Terms of Service

Welcome to PixJelly. PixJelly is built and operated by an independent developer (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can reach us at hello@pixjelly.com.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PixJelly, an AI image editing service at https://pixjelly.com that lets you edit photos by pointing at what to change, generate images from text or a reference image, remove backgrounds and remove unwanted people or objects (the “Service”).

By signing in, buying credits, subscribing to a plan or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you (a) are at least 18 years old; (b) have read and agree to these Terms; (c) agree to our Privacy Policy at https://pixjelly.com/privacy; and (d) are authorized to accept these Terms for yourself or the organization you represent.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

2.1 What we provide. PixJelly is an online software service. Depending on the tool, it edits or generates images with third-party AI models, or processes them on your own device.

2.2 Nature of the Service. The Service is a digital, intangible product. Purchased credits and plan access are delivered immediately after payment is confirmed. Because delivery is immediate, refunds are limited as described in Section 7.

2.3 AI models we use. The model used for each request is shown in the workspace before you run it:

• Nano Banana Pro (Google) — also powers “PixJelly V2.0”, our curated workflow, and the Precise mode of image editing.
• Nano Banana 2.1 (Google) — Fast mode, and AI redraw for removing people and objects.
• GPT Image 2 (OpenAI).
• Seedream 5 Pro (ByteDance).
• Recraft — Standard background removal.
• Photoroom — HD background removal.
• Free background removal, White Background and Quick erase run open models on your own device; your photo is not uploaded.

These providers are accessed through their official services or our API partner KIE. The Service’s performance and availability depend on them, and we will try to communicate significant disruptions promptly.

3.1 Account. Most tools that run on our servers require signing in with a Google account. Some tools can be used without an account: free background removal, White Background and Quick erase, which run in your browser, and a limited number of free AI edits per day (AI redraw and the annotate editor, using Nano Banana 2.1). Free AI edits pass a bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) and may wait in a queue when many people use them at once; a place that is not started within 24 hours is cancelled and does not count. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3.2 Security. Tell us immediately at hello@pixjelly.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. Do not share your account with others.

3.3 Business accounts. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these Terms.

We offer monthly and yearly subscription plans that include a monthly credit allowance, and one-time credit packs. Current plans, prices and credit amounts are listed at https://pixjelly.com/pricing.

• Credits are spent per request, at a fixed cost per model. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
• A new account receives 10 free credits once.
• If a request clearly fails, its credits are returned automatically. If a provider’s result cannot be confirmed, we keep the record for review instead of refunding automatically; contact us and we will check it.
• Tools that run on your device do not use credits.

• Credit packs are valid for 6 months from purchase. Subscribers receive 50% extra credits on every pack.

5.1 Payment processor. Purchases are processed by Waffo Pancake, which acts as our merchant of record and payment processor. Your card details are handled by Waffo Pancake and are never stored on our servers. Because Waffo Pancake (Waffo.com Limited) is the seller of record, your card statement may show a Waffo descriptor rather than PixJelly.

5.2 Recurring billing authorization. By subscribing to a paid plan, you expressly authorize us, through Waffo Pancake, to charge your payment method on a recurring basis — monthly or yearly, according to the plan you choose — until you cancel as described in Section 6.

5.3 Credit purchases. Each credit pack purchase is a one-time charge authorized at checkout. We do not offer automatic top-ups.

5.4 Taxes. Prices are shown in US dollars and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise; Waffo Pancake calculates and collects applicable taxes at checkout.

5.5 Reminders. Waffo Pancake emails you an upcoming-charge notice before each subscription renewal is charged, and a receipt after every payment.

You can cancel a subscription at any time from Credits → Manage billing in your account (the Waffo Pancake customer portal), or by emailing hello@pixjelly.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep your plan credits until then. Separately purchased credit packs are not cancelled and remain valid for their validity period.

7.1 Subscription refunds.

• 7-day guarantee for first-time subscribers: a full refund if you have used no more than 10% of the plan’s credits for that period.
• Duplicate charges, or a service failure lasting 72 hours or more: eligible for a refund or credit.

7.2 Credit pack refunds. Unused credits are refundable in full within 7 days of purchase. Used credits are non-refundable.

7.3 Plan credits — no rollover. Plan credits are granted every month (yearly plans included) and expire when the next month’s credits are granted; unused plan credits do not carry over.

7.4 Credits after cancellation. Separately purchased credit packs keep their original validity period regardless of your subscription status.

7.5 Order of use. Plan credits are used first, then credit packs (earliest expiry first), then any remaining free credits.

7.6 How to request a refund. Email hello@pixjelly.com with your order details. Approved refunds are issued by Waffo Pancake to your original payment method. When a purchase is refunded, the credits it added are removed from your balance; if some were already used, your balance is reduced to zero, never below.

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us at hello@pixjelly.com before disputing it with your bank. We reply within 2 business days and resolve confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.

9.1 Your outputs. Subject to these Terms and to the providers’ terms, images produced for you (“Outputs”) belong to you, and you may use them for any lawful purpose consistent with Section 10.

9.2 Your inputs. You keep ownership of the images and text you submit (“Inputs”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process them only to provide the Service. We do not use your Inputs or Outputs to train AI models.

9.3 Third-party models. Outputs are produced by the third-party models listed in Section 2.3 and may be influenced by them. Similar Outputs may be generated for other users.

9.4 Accuracy. AI Outputs can contain errors or unintended changes. Review them before relying on them.

10.1 You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.

10.2 Prohibited content. You must not use the Service to create, edit or upload any of the following:

• Pornography and sexually explicit (NSFW) content, including nude or sexualized images of real people.
• Violence and gore, including graphic injury, torture or content that promotes violence.
• Hate speech: content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics.
• Child-unsafe content: any content that sexualizes or exploits minors (CSAM). We report such content to the relevant authorities.
• Deepfakes and impersonation: replacing or disguising one real person’s face or identity with another’s (face swaps), creating nude or intimate images of real people, compositing real people into intimate scenes, or showing a real person saying or doing something they never said or did — whether or not they consent. PixJelly offers no face-swap feature.
• Copyright and trademark infringement: content that copies protected characters, artwork, logos or brands you do not have the right to use.

10.3 Other prohibited uses. You must not use the Service to produce fraud, phishing or malware; harass or defame anyone; violate anyone’s privacy; circumvent or interfere with the Service’s security, rate limits or free allowances; resell access without our written permission; scrape outputs at scale; use inputs or outputs to train or benchmark a competing AI model; or break any law, regulation or card-network rule.

10.4 Photos of real people. Only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have given you permission to edit their image. Do not upload photos of other people without their consent.

10.5 How we moderate content. Every request that runs on our servers is checked by an automated safety system (OpenAI’s moderation model) before we start it and before we deliver the result: your prompt and any text you add to the image, each photo you upload, and each image the AI returns. If a prompt or photo does not pass, the request is not started and no credits are used. If a result does not pass, we do not deliver it and refund the credits for that request. If the safety check itself is unavailable, we do not start the request. Tools that run entirely in your browser never reach our servers and are not checked. The image models also apply their own safety filters. Automated checks can be wrong in both directions; if you think a request was blocked by mistake, contact us.

10.6 Enforcement. If you break this Section, we may refuse the request (no credits are charged for a refused request), suspend your account so it can no longer use paid tools or make purchases, forfeit your remaining credits without refund, and terminate your account. We may report illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, to the relevant authorities. We do not host the images you create (result links expire after 24 hours), so there is no published content for us to take down.

10.7 Reporting. To report content created with PixJelly that breaks these rules, email hello@pixjelly.com with “Report” in the subject and include a link or screenshot, or use the Feedback button in the app. We review reports within 3 business days and take the actions in 10.6 where appropriate. If you believe we acted on your account by mistake, reply to our notice to appeal.

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy at https://pixjelly.com/privacy, which explains what we collect, which providers receive your images, and how long data is kept. Payment card data is processed by Waffo Pancake and is not stored on our servers. After you ask us to delete your account, account data is deleted within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (see the Privacy Policy).

12.1 THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT OR ACCURACY OF AI OUTPUTS.

12.2 AI-generated content may be inaccurate, unexpected or altered in ways you did not intend. Do not rely on it as professional advice or as an accurate record of real people or events.

12.3 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

These Terms apply while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if we suspect fraud, or if required by law. If we terminate for a reason other than your breach, we will refund any unused prepaid period on a pro-rated basis. You may ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@pixjelly.com.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and nothing in them limits rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence. Before starting formal proceedings, please email hello@pixjelly.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Purchases are also subject to the buyer terms of our merchant of record, Waffo Pancake, shown at checkout.

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice in the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
